Fenwix does not claim records cannot be changed. No honest system does. It is engineered so that change leaves marks, and the marks make tampering evident.
Current
- Evidence content hash: SHA-256 computed when the file is written
- Capture source recorded: live camera vs. imported from gallery
- Original image never silently overwritten, annotations are a separate layer
- Completed inspections change only through revisions with a mandatory reason
- Stable report identity: report number fixed, revision increments
- Verification digest covering answers, findings, parties, report number and company identity
- Linked evidence files re-hashed during verification
Roadmap
ROADMAP
Full Field Data Protocol envelope, stable object UUID coverage across the domain, a complete revision hash chain, cryptographic device/user signing, organization signing, trusted timestamp options and a regulated evidence dossier. These extend the current model and are not part of it yet.
